Pyrogel™ XTE

Low thermal conductivity flexible insulation material
Pyrogel™ XTE
Pyrogel XTE is a heat insulation Aerogel blanket that is made by impregnating silica Aerogel into glass fiber cloth.
Silica Aerogel is known as a material with the lowest thermal conductivity of any solid. It has features such as excellent thermal insulation properties, water repellency, flexibility, environmental safety, and ease of handling, and can achieve excellent heat insulation performance. Pyrogel XTE is an ideal heat insulation material for retaining heat in high-temperature pipes, equipment, and tanks, and is essential for pursuing the best possible thermal efficiency.
Forte
Compared to conventional heat insulation materials such as rock wool heat insulation materials, calcium silicate heat insulation materials, and water-repellent perlite heat insulation materials, it has between approximately one-half to one-third the thermal conductivity.
Despite being thinner, it offers heat insulation performance equivalent to that of conventional heat insulation materials.
It is both water-repellent and permeable to water vapor. It emits moisture from the inside of the heat insulation material to the outside in the form of vapor and also prevents the ingress of rainwater from the outside surface of the heat insulation material, thereby reducing the risk of corrosion under insulation (CUI).
It is a soft and flexible sheet with excellent recovery properties.
It can easily be cut with a box cutter knife or the like and adapts to complex shapes, curves, and narrow spaces.
Different from pipe covers and molded board-shaped heat insulation materials, Pyrogel XTE can support various pipe diameters, shapes, and thicknesses on its own.

TOMBO™ No. 5010 FOAMNERT™ SUPPORT

Heat-insulation material for cryogenic pipes
TOMBO™ No. 5010
FOAMNERT™ SUPPORT
TOMBO No.5010 FOAMNERT SUPPORT is a low-temperature pipe support with excellent thermal insulation and mechanical strength developed from Nichias’ testing of urethane foam technologies and cryogenic installation technologies as a manufacturer of thermal and cryogenic insulation materials.
FOAMNERT SUPPORT has a base of high-density urethane foam, and so in addition to its strength as a structural material, it has outstanding thermal insulation and weather resistance.
Forte
It has extremely superior thermal insulation performance compared to wooden supports.
It has excellent weather resistance and does not corrode.
The standard specification models have a density of 300 K and 500 K, and so a 300 K model with greater thermal insulation can be selected to suit your load.
It has a small water absorption rate and there are no concerns over small cracks from the condensing of absorbed water.
Compared to wooden supports, a lineup including large-diameter models can be manufactured inexpensively.
No Freon (including Freon alternatives) has been used.
Application
Pipes and equipment insulation pedestals (supports) at LNG and LPG bases, pharmaceutical plants, petrochemical plants, etc.
Construction-related
Insulates the anti-condensation materials and pipes of buildings and district heating and cooling systems.
